We didn't actually plan on opening a standalone burger joint, but St. Louis had other ideas. When we first introduced a smashburger lineup at Steve’s Hot Dogs back in 2024, it blew up almost overnight. It didn't take long for regulars and local influencers to start joking that "Steve's Hot Dogs" should really be called "Steve's Burgers."

The joke became a demand. You told us what you wanted, and we listened.

Steve’s Smash is the latest concept from HuSTL Hospitality Group, stepping out of the hot dog stand and into its very own spotlight at the brand-new Wash Ave Food Hall. We’re taking that customer-favorite burger lineup, giving it the focus it deserves, and bringing a whole new level of energy to downtown St. Louis.
